Former Cisco vice president in Russia will become an advisor to the IT company Aquarius. His responsibilities in his new position have not been disclosed, writes Vedomosti.

Jonathan Sparrow is an advisor to the shareholders of the holding company IQ Holding, which also includes the Aquarius Group of Companies. The appointment of a specialist to this position does not affect the structure or the staff of the holding company and its member companies, representatives of the organization announced.
- Jonathan Sparrow took over as Cisco’s top manager in Russia in 2014. According to the Unified State Register of Legal Entities, he stepped down nine years later and was replaced in this position by Natalya Goryushina.
- In June 2022, Cisco officially left the Russian and Belarusian markets and also disposed of its inventory in the Russian Federation worth almost 1.9 billion rubles.
According to experts, attracting a specialist of this level and experience can help Aquarius build a Western-style business if the company plans to develop an export direction.
