Nintendo Switch 2 is not expected to be released in the current fiscal year, which ends in March 2025. Yasuda believes that the company will be able to present the console for $499 (about 44.3 thousand rubles). Thus, the device will go on sale between April and June.
It is known that in terms of performance, it will be Broccoli, it will be ahead of Valve. This will lead to the fact that all games will be released early in a higher resolution, but with a lower frame rate. The device may also get DLSS Super resolution upscaling technology and Ray Reconstruction, but support for DLSS 3 framerate generation has not been announced.
Recall that the world will see the original Nintendo Switch in the spring of 2017, and by August 2024 its global circulation exceeded 143 million units. Initially, this version in the United States was sold for $299 or 22.5 thousand rubles.
