Russian oil refineries and chemical plants are implementing a new automated system for managing technological processes, developed by Perm Polytechnic University together with the company Industrial Cybernetics. This complex helps to effectively monitor all production parameters, eliminating the need for specialists to manually process false signal streams, which often makes it difficult to quickly respond to real problems. The program should increase safety and improve operational efficiency through more accurate analysis and processing of alarms.
Existing monitoring systems are often expensive and have limited adaptability to specific conditions of Russian enterprises. Most of them are imported, and their use in Russia is often associated with difficulties. To improve the situation, a new domestic software package was created that offers flexibility and accessibility that are not available in foreign analogues.
The system, which is based on the Python programming language, has already been tested on a test bench and has proven its effectiveness. As Boris Stafeychuk from PNIPU noted, the program can be easily integrated into any control system, whether foreign or Russian, and meets security requirements. Postgraduate student Vyacheslav Bratchikov added that the system continues to evolve, providing users with the ability to customize reports and add new functionality as needed. This innovation promises to improve safety and control at production facilities, reduce dependence on foreign solutions and increase overall efficiency.
