In 2024, Russian users significantly increased their Internet traffic consumption. According to the provider Dom.ru, the average traffic consumption per subscriber increased by 8.5% from the beginning of 2023 to June 2024 compared to the same month last year, and by 8.6% in June 2024. This indicates the continued growth of digitalization and the active use of online services.

Comparative data shows impressive growth: 15.4% on a six-month basis and 20.6% on a quarterly basis. This is probably due to the expansion of online services, new platforms and improved content quality, as well as the increased time users spend online.

The leaders in traffic growth were Kazan, Cheboksary, Bryansk, Ufa and Krasnodar. The analysis shows that music services remain the most popular, followed by watching movies, playing online games and reading e-books. The increase in interest in e-books is particularly noticeable – by 41.5% compared to June 2023.
