Yandex Market is introducing a service fee for users of 20 rubles per order. The funds received from the innovation will be used for infrastructure development.

As the exchange’s press service told TASS, the company strives to maintain high-quality service, which is why it reinvests the funds raised to expand and maintain its technological infrastructure.
Customers of the Moscow market, the Moscow region, Yekaterinburg and Nizhny Novgorod will be the first to start paying the service fee. The press service added that the company will charge the fee only for good quality products.
Market revealed its costs for renting services and related equipment. According to the company’s own data, expenses amount to about 10 billion rubles a year. These include both providing licenses for the necessary software and maintaining employees’ salaries.
Today, Delivery, which became part of Yandex’s structure in September 2022, has a service fee.
The service introduced a fee for users in 2021, but Rospotrebnadzor declared the innovation illegal. In December 2022, the Moscow Arbitration Court overturned the regulatory agency’s decision.
