The expert received both the Samsung S23 FE and the Google Pixel 7A with 128 GB of internal memory. Moreover, the Pixel is only available in this configuration.
While the S23 FE’s box includes only the cable and a paperclip to open the SIM card tray, the Pixel 7A includes a Type-C to USB Type-A adapter and a charging cable.
Pixel was launched faster than the two smartphones. It should be said that it runs on “pure” Android.
Samsung’s screen looks slightly brighter than the Pixel’s. Additionally, the S23 FE has a 120Hz refresh rate, while the Pixel 7A only has a 90Hz refresh rate.
Samsung S23 FE comes with two processor options. One of these is the Exynos 2200 installed in the Galaxy S22. Pixel is powered by the Tensor G2 processor. The results of the tests performed on the benchmarks are below.

As for the cameras, there are three cameras behind the rear panel for Samsung and two for Pixel. The main module of the S23 FE has 50 MP, while the Pixel has 64 MP. Samsung also has a telephoto camera, unlike Google’s smartphone. Finally, the ultra-wide sensor on the Galaxy S23 Ultra is 12 MP, while on the Pixel it is 13 MP. The front cameras have a resolution of 10 MP (Samsung) and 13 MP (Pixel). You can see photo examples above.
In terms of sound, the speakers have the same volume on the Pixel and different on the Samsung (lower is louder). At the same time, the S23 FE has a more spacious sound.
The S23 FE’s battery has a capacity of 4500 mAh, for Pixel 7A – 4385 mAh. The maximum wired charging power for the first is 25 W, for the second – 18 W, wireless – 15 and 7.5 W, respectively.
For around the same price, the Samsung Galaxy S23 FE offers more functionality overall. It has a larger screen, greater Hertz power, a telephoto camera, a nicer shell, and more interesting photos.
