At the same time, the number of sellers of such devices is increasing, and their prices are expected to rise. A regular router can be purchased on average for 2.5 thousand rubles, but for a device with built-in VPN support you will have to pay at least 6 thousand rubles.
According to experts quoted by the publication’s journalists in the article, the technology allows YouTube to be used without speed restrictions.
At the same time, do not forget that using a VPN can threaten the security of the user’s personal data. Attackers can easily steal your username and password via a virtual network connection.
The advantages of these devices include the fact that this technology allows you to control many smart home devices. It is also very useful for those devices whose manufacturers no longer support the software in Russia.
Some time ago, IT expert Artem Geller said that Russians are ready to put up with YouTube’s slowness for at least a year, and against the background of the slowdown of this video hosting in Russia, users’ interest in other foreign video hosting sites has increased.
