Accounts receive money in dollars, but Steam converts it to the currency of the profile region, i.e. in the account of the Russian region, the user will see rubles, and in the Kazakh region, tenge. The money is credited to the account within 15 minutes, and less often – up to two hours.
“We do not charge a commission for replenishment. This is the bank’s commission for conversion, which depends on the exchange rate and varies from 9 to 12%,” VK Play noted.
The service’s message also notes that if the user enters an incorrect login, the money will go to another player with the same name or will be returned if this login does not exist.
Steam wallet replenishment service in Russia is offered by MTS, WebMoney, T-Bank and Alfa-Bank. Each service has its own commission.
