Former Apple sales specialist Tyler Morgan has warned users about the dangers of installing iOS 18. The details were provided by the authors of the iDrop News blog.

Morgan posted his advice on TikTok, where he said that those with an older smartphone should not install the new iOS. He included in this category any iPhone released more than three years ago.
“You will slow down your phone. Maybe not immediately, but over time,” the specialist said.
He says that Apple is developing new versions of the operating system for current smartphones that have a powerful processor and a large amount of memory. The expert recalled that iOS 18 will feature artificial intelligence (AI) functions, but older devices do not support them. These are, for example, iPhone 13, iPhone 12 and iPhone 11.
According to Morgan, the new iOS “absolutely” will not work on the iPhone X, which appeared in 2017, or on older devices. But the user still has the technical ability to install this operating system on a rare smartphone.
