Yandex Market has given sellers the opportunity to create their own product cards, the company’s press service told RB.RU. Now they can manage all the content as they wish.

They will be able to determine the product category themselves, make changes to the description and name, fill in the characteristics independently or automatically, edit photos and everything in the card. This update will help create and develop unique positions and increase product sales. The approach to content management has been changed following requests from sellers.
“Due to shared cards, irrelevant information from other sellers may appear in a partner’s product description, and content that he uploaded himself may be displayed on other people’s cards. To prevent this from happening, the seller will also be able to prohibit other partners from copying content in the settings for working with cards,” Yandex Market says.
The author of the card will now also know how well it is completed. Title, description, images and videos, features – all of these will be evaluated by the algorithms and given a “score” from 1 to 100: the better it is, the higher the product will appear in the search results. Quality is now a key factor when ranking offers in searches. It is important in terms of placement in search results, as is the product description, user preferences, price, popularity among customers, delivery time and seller rating.
A week ago, Yandex Market announced the introduction of a service fee for users of 20 rubles per order, and the funds received from the innovation will be used for infrastructure development.
