Oppo Find X8 smartphones will feature an additional camera button, similar to the one on the iPhone 16, according to GSMArena.

Oppo plans to equip its flagship Find X8 series smartphones with a capacitive button, which will be responsible for taking photos and videos. Apple is likely to use the same solution on the iPhone 16 line.
The touch button on the new device will also be multifunctional: a light press will focus the camera, and a hard press will open the shutter. If you simply press it, you will get a photo, and a “long” press will start the process of recording a video. In addition, in the camera app, a swipe gesture will allow you to zoom in or out, and in the gallery, you can change the scale of the photo.
The Oppo Find X8 could get a 6.7-inch display with 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate, onboard a MediaTek Dimensity 9400 chip and a triple camera with a 50MP resolution. The Find X8 Pro will feature a slightly larger 6.8-inch display with the same resolution and two telephoto lenses with 3x and 10x zoom.
There is no information on when the device will be unveiled, but it will most likely take place in late 2024 or early 2025.
In April 2024, Oppo introduced two smartphones from the Reno series – 11 and 11F, for 36 thousand rubles and 41 thousand rubles, respectively. The main feature of the devices is their flagship cameras, including those with a telephoto lens.
