Las Vegas Convention Center Loop project manager Steve Hill, who is responsible for transportation through The Boring Company’s tunnel in Las Vegas, said in an interview that drivers of Tesla electric cars are manually controlling the loop while driving on the overpass because the Full Self-Driving (FSD) system is not operational there.

Hill did not say why the use of Autopilot underground was abandoned, but said the automaker could begin introducing driver-assist technology by late 2024. He did not indicate a timeframe for when FSD would be able to work in one-way tunnels.

“It doesn’t inspire much confidence in Tesla FSD if engineers can’t make the system work in a one-way, no-traffic, no-weather, no-obstacle route,” says Electrek journalist Fred Lambert.

A batch of Tesla Model 3 Performance electric sedans has been brought to Russia. The new product was presented in the spring. The cost of the electric train is close to 8 million rubles.
