Microsoft, as part of the implementation of sanctions, is preparing to disable its cloud services for the largest university in southern Russia, the Southern Federal University (SFU, 25 thousand students and about 5 thousand employees), RB.RU reported.

- The Bank of Russia announced the start of the second stage of testing the digital ruble from September 1. - The Ministry of Finance estimates that by the end of 2023, US investors will have $30.4 billion in Russian securities (including $28.6 billion in stocks). In 2021, these figures were $83.8 billion and $69.2 billion, respectively.
- The volume of microcredits issued in the second quarter of 2024 increased in the consumer segment by 20%, in the SME segment by 22%. In the previous quarter, the growth was around 6%.
