In the blog, the company suggested checking and optimizing startup in the Task Manager to prevent the system from slowing down due to unnecessary applications. This advice has been around since Windows XP and doesn’t really offer anything new.
Additionally, Microsoft reminded that some programs may not be visible in Task Manager, and users were asked to look for them in the AppData folders or the system registry.
However, editing the registry requires caution and is recommended only for advanced users.
Therefore, the suggested methods, although useful, seem like a step backwards as they have long been basic knowledge for most Windows users.
