According to him, the service will allow guests to register completely autonomously, which will significantly speed up the check-in process at hotels.
In the future, this solution could be used in various areas requiring citizen identification, for example, for the automatic issuance of library cards, the CBT press service added.
- In Moscow, passengers will be able to pay for travel using Face Pay starting from October 15, 2021. To use this method, you need to link your photo, a bank card with funds to pay for the trip, and a Troika card to the service via the Moscow Metro app.
- On August 30, 2024, personal payment via the National Payment Card System (NSCP) began operating in the Kazan metro. At the end of December, the new payment method will be launched in Nizhny Novgorod, Yekaterinburg and Samara, and in 2025 – in St. Petersburg and Novosibirsk. There are also plans to expand the technology to shops and restaurants.
CBT is the operator of the Unified Biometric System (UBS). Registration there is done on a voluntary basis. With this system, you can remotely open bank accounts, make deposits and receive a fan card or an electronic SIM card.
From January 1, 2024, information about where and when biometric data was recorded is available in your personal account on the State Services portal, as well as the opportunity to revoke consent to its processing for specific organizations or delete information from the EBS.
