Telegram has removed some text in its FAQ section explaining that personal chats are protected from moderation requests, The Verge noted.

If earlier the question “how to remove illegal content on Telegram?” was asked, the company replied that “all chats and groups are private for their members and we do not process requests for them,” but now that answer is missing.
Instead, users are now encouraged to report illegal content using the “Report” button. The report can also be sent via messenger email.
Pavel Durov was arrested at Paris’ Le Bourget airport on 24 August and arrived there on a private plane from Azerbaijan. On 28 August he was released on bail of 5 million euros and banned from leaving France.
On September 5, 2024, the businessman commented for the first time on his arrest in France. He admitted that the messenger is not perfect, although it deletes millions of malicious messages every day and publishes reports on its activities.
Faced with accusations of insufficient measures, the founder of the platform said the company has already started working to improve processes and will provide more information soon.
