Apple has released the 4th generation AirPods wireless headphones in two versions.
The company has slightly changed the shape of the ears to make them more comfortable.
AirPods 4 feature personalized spatial audio, and Apple promises more bass.
The headphones still come with a smaller charging case that can add another 30 hours of battery life. It charges via USB-C, wireless charging, or MagSafe.
The second version of AirPods 4 is distinguished by the first presence of active noise cancellation and transparency mode.
Thanks to the H2 chip, AirPods 4 can recognize gestures for Siri. For example, nodding your head means “yes.” To answer Siri’s question no, just shake your head slightly.
The standard AirPods 4 cost $129, while the upgraded version costs $179. The headphones are available for pre-order today. Sales begin on September 20.
