Apple’s senior vice president of software engineering, Craig Federighi, told Wired that the Private Cloud Compute (PCC) servers used for Apple Intelligence have a simple structure.
They don’t even have hard drives to store data. This is done to ensure that confidential information cannot physically be stored.
PCC servers are as simple as possible. For example, they do not include “persistent storage,” meaning they do not have a hard drive that can store recorded data for a long time.

After the server is rebooted, all information from it is deleted.
As an additional precaution, a new encryption key is generated after each reboot. This means that when the server reboots, the old key becomes cryptographically unrecoverable. At that point, all the server can do is start over with the new encryption key.
Apple uses PCC servers, so it is not possible to process data for Apple Intelligence on the device. If PCC also cannot rotate with the bracelet, Apple asks users for permission to use ChatGPT. [9to5Mac]
