The company says the disinformation efforts intensified in late August and early September, with one “farm” distributing videos of “Harris supporters pretending to attack Trump rally attendees and blaming Harris for the 2011 hit-and-run incident.” Another farm allegedly diverted public attention away from the 2024 Paris Olympics to create “other negative content about Harris.”

The report follows earlier “revelations” from Microsoft that Iranian hackers were allegedly trying to target Trump campaign advisers.
