The EU wants these devices to easily connect to iPhones and receive notifications and other information, and the Commission will also examine the process Apple has put in place to meet demands from developers that third-party devices be compatible with its iOS and iPadOS operating systems.
According to the Engadget portal, the European Commission gave Apple six months to implement these measures, otherwise the company could face huge fines.
