We’re talking about Huawei, ZTE and BOE – the companies have joined forces to create the best foldable OLED display with an integrated camera. Probably the first smartphone to get the latest display technology will be the upcoming flexible flagship Huawei Mate X4.
Note that the Mate X4 will not be the pioneer among foldable smartphones with an under-display camera. Previously, the technology has already been implemented in the Samsung Galaxy Fold 4.
But while Samsung’s camera quality leaves much to be desired, Huawei, ZTE and BOE are confident they’ve found a solution to this problem.
The new OLED panel, called the Q8, will finally get rid of the poor quality of the photos taken with the hidden camera. This was achieved mainly thanks to ZTE’s experience in this field.
Recall that a few years ago, the pioneer in under-display camera technology was the ZTE Axon series.
