We are talking about three coins: one silver coin with a face value of 3 rubles, as well as two 25-ruble coins made of steel with nickel plating and one made of copper-nickel alloy with a coloured coating. The coins were issued in honour of the 50th anniversary of Hedgehog in the Fog.

The main character of the cartoon and his name were depicted on the reverse side. The 3-ruble coin had a circulation of 7 thousand pieces, nickel-plated – 850 thousand, and colored – 150 thousand.

  • This is not the first time that the Central Bank has issued commemorative coins. For example, in February 2023, the regulator released a coin with the image of Alexander Ostrovsky, and in July – with the profile of Viktor Tsoi.
