Such decisions may become an incentive to block a resource under the law on information technology and information protection. Kommersant’s interlocutor confirmed that “on guest days” Discord may be officially blocked in Russia due to violations of the law. There is also an option to slow it down.
The problem is that for Russian developers, communication with communities, including the international community, and technical support are implemented through Discord.
