Analysis company Canalys has published a report on tablet shipments to the Chinese market. In the second quarter of 2024, Huawei surpassed its main competitor, Apple, in shipments. It is the second time so far, but the Chinese company shows significant growth in this indicator (66%), while the American technology giant, on the contrary, reduces supply (-14%).

The share of both companies in the supply of tablets to the Chinese market is 26%, which, compared to 2023, shows Apple’s loss of influence on the market, writes Gizmochina. Previously, the American corporation had 36% and Huawei 19%.
In the second quarter, Apple shipped 3 million fewer tablets (20.1 million vs. 23.4 a year earlier). Huawei increased its volume from 12.3 million to 20.5 million.
