Prominent insider Yogesh Brar confirmed that Qualcomm will retain its current naming scheme despite rumors of a possible name change. He also mentioned the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 4 (model “SM8775”), which has yet to receive official confirmation.

The Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chip will have lower performance and size compared to the full Snapdragon 8 Gen 4, making it a more affordable solution for lower-end devices.

The flagship Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 will launch later this year and power devices like the vivo X200 Ultra and Oppo Find X8 Ultra.
