Amid the escalating conflict between Iran and Israel, the Federal Air Transport Agency issued a warning to Russian airlines on October 1, according to the Telegram channel of the Federal Air Transport Agency (FAVT).

The FATF called for the temporary cessation of flights in the airspace of Israel, Iran and Iraq, as well as changes in routes to fly over these countries.

Following this warning, Aeroflot, Red Wings, Ural Airlines, Rossiya, Pobeda, Sibir (S7 Airlines) began reporting cancellations or delays in their flights.

According to Interfax, on October 1 Iran attacked Israel with hundreds of missiles. Israel, Jordan and Iraq announced the closure of airspace to planes. Once the missile attack was over, Israel announced the opening of the skies.
