Recently, a new iPhone was manufactured in a familiar configuration, purchased on the secondary market. When trying to create a new Apple ID (or, as it is now called, Apple Account), a warning appeared on the iPhone screen stating that it was impossible to do this.
We have already written about a similar problem and proposed a working solution. But, to my surprise, this attempt to register an Apple account through the appleid.apple.com/account page also failed: several times the site changed the error message after entering a fresh email address and a pre-thought-out password.
Why does the error “Could not create a new account” occur? problems
So we went the other way and overcame the problem of creating an Apple Account using the Mail application on the iPhone itself.
Here’s how to do it:
Alternative way to create an Apple account
When creating an Apple account through the browser, this message appeared.
1. Follow the path Settings – Applications – Mail
2. Next press “Mail accounts” – “Add a new account»
3. Choose iCloud
4. Click “Create a new Apple account»
The same thing is clear in the screenshots:

Next, add all the necessary fields for your new account and a miracle will happen. The account was successfully created, everyone is happy.
The problem of creating a new account on an iPhone, especially if it was purchased second-hand, can affect everyone. Apple is rumored to be limiting the number of new Apple accounts that can be created on a single device to 15.
So, if the smartphone has already been in use, you will never know whether the limit has been reached or not. There is also a bug with creating new accounts on iPhone and iPad when setting up the device for the first time.
However, if the stars are so depressed that you cannot create an Apple account for their iPhone in the standard way of setting up through a smartphone, as well as through a browser, try the third option through Mail using iCloud resources.
Perhaps this will work.
