Petukhov did not say how the new Apple product came into his hands several weeks before its expected presentation. According to him, the 14-inch laptop is equipped with three Thunderbolt 4 ports and the minimum amount of RAM is 16 GB.

The blogger also tested the new M4 chip in the GeekBench benchmark, where the device scored 3864 points in the single-core test and 15288 in the multi-core test. By comparison, a basic M3-equipped MacBook Pro scores less than 3,000 in the single-core test and 11,800 in the multi-core test.

Expert Mark Gurman, author of Bloomberg’s newsletter on new Apple products, called Wylsacom’s video “credible.” “We’ve seen leaks of prototypes more than once, but never of retail Apple devices several weeks before the announcement,” he emphasized.

At the same time, the expert noted that the laptop box shown by the Russian blogger looked the same as the one the MacBook Pro 2023 is sold in. “However, this may not mean much,” Gurman added.

According to Gurman in an article for Bloomberg, sales of the new MacBook will begin on November 1. Approximately a week before, Apple is expected to make an official presentation of new devices.

In early 2025, Apple, according to Bloomberg, plans to launch a new generation of iPhone SE, which will presumably lose the Home button and look like the iPhone 14.
