Attention nostalgic people, especially those living in Spain, as McDonald’s pays homage in a special way Friends, a cult series that will celebrate its 30th anniversary in 2024..
The brand surprised everyone with the release of the “Friends Box”, a limited edition inspired by the cult television series. “Starting today, you can immerse yourself in the Central Perk universe and collect figurines of your favorite characters while enjoying your favorite McDonald’s products.”
What’s in Happy Meal Friends?
The Friends Box includes a collectible figure of one of six friends: Ross, Rachel, Monica, Chandler, Phoebe or Joey. Each figure comes with a signature element of the character, such as Monica’s chef outfit or Phoebe’s guitar. Plus, you can try Monica’s delicious Marinara Sauce, inspired by the culinary passion of one of the show’s most beloved characters.

Through the MyMcDonald’s app, you can purchase exclusive products from the range by redeeming points earned when you place orders. In addition, you can test your knowledge about Friends by participating in the daily quiz and earning more points that can be redeemed for prizes.
And beware with your Spanish friends: the McDonald’s on Montera Street in Madrid will be transformed into a tribute to Central Perk. Starting next Thursday, October 10th, fans will be able to enjoy an immersive experience and relive their favorite moments from the series.
