The game is available for pre-order on the App Store and will be compatible with the iPhone 15 Pro, iPhone 15 Pro Max, iPhone 16 series, as well as iPads and MacBooks powered by M1 chips and later.
Part of the game will be free to try, but full access will require in-game purchases.
Resident Evil 2 will be the fourth game in the series to be ported to Apple devices, following Resident Evil 4, 7 and Village.
However, it is worth noting that, despite the support for touch control and controller use, previous similar projects on Apple platforms were not in great demand.
