The construction of the building was completed as planned, internal work and the installation of communications are already underway, highlighted in the market.
VB Development informed Delovoy Peterburg the day before that construction had stopped because the client had stopped making payments. As the company claims, problems arose not only in St. Petersburg, but also at other construction sites in Russia and Belarus.
Wildberries denied these statements and noted that the contracts with VB Development were terminated due to failure to meet deadlines and unjustified suspension of work. Marketplace has already entered into contracts with a new contractor to complete construction.
VB Development received a notice of termination of the contract, but considers this decision illegal and is planning to take additional legal measures, RBC writes.
