Therefore, for the current version of Chrome, it is worth looking for uBlock Origin alternatives that support Manifest v3, including Adblock Plus, Stands AdBlocker, Ghostery. Moreover, one of Hill’s products supports Manifest v3; This is uBlock Origin Lite, a “simplified” version of uBO that the developer has adapted to support Manifest v3.
But it won’t be a good thing for ad blockers that don’t support Manifest v3; These plugins will eventually become completely unusable.
As explained on the Rozetked portal, users will be able to use the Manifest v2 platform until June 2025 using ExtensionManifestV2Availability. The solution is available for Windows, macOS, Linux and ChromeOS.
