In the single-core test, the iPad mini scored 2840 points, and 6982 in the multi-core test. For comparison, the iPhone 15 Pro produces 2888 and 6519 points in the single-core and multi-core tests, respectively.
The iPad mini 7 and iPhone 15 Pro have the same A17 Pro processor with one minor difference: the iPhone has 6 graphics cores, while the tablet has only 5. The processor frequency is the same in both devices and is 3.78 GHz.
Geekbench also confirmed the rumor that the iPad mini 7 has 8 GB of RAM. The previous Mini had 4 GB of RAM. 8 GB is a powerful amount for running Apple Intelligence.
Out of the box, iPad mini 7 runs on iPadOS 18. The iPadOS 18.1 update with Apple Intelligence is released simultaneously with registered devices from the company.
