Messages about the suspension of supplies first concerned the 8-core Ryzen 5 5800X3D and have now become valid for the more affordable 6-core Ryzen 5 5600X3D sold only in the American Microcenter network.
The Ryzen 5 5600X3D was released last July and is considered an excellent choice for owners of socket AM4 motherboards.
In independent tests, its performance was only 5% behind the older Ryzen 5 5800X3D, making it popular among users.
Now both processors can only be found on the secondary market. The only remaining model on sale is the Ryzen 5 5700X3D, which is 10% lower than the outgoing model, offering more modest specs and lower clock speeds.
