With the release of iOS 18.1, AirPods Pro introduced new hearing-related features.
Among them: hearing protection from loud sounds, hearing testing and hearing aids. They are all compatible only with second-generation firmware (with or without Lightning). However, at the start they are available only to users located in the USA and connected; there are no other countries on the list.
New information has already appeared in iOS 18.1 RC, but changing the region in the USA does not help. You cannot test the function in Russia.
