Unlike its competitors such as Steam Deck and Lenovo Legion Go, the new product requires a connection to an external display to work.
Pocket Go is powered by AMD Ryzen 7 8840HS processor and supports up to 16GB LPDDR5 RAM and 1TB PCIe 4.0 storage.
Along with the console, you can purchase a kit with Pocket Vision AR glasses that simulate a 6-inch diagonal screen located at a distance of 215 meters.
The glasses offer FullHD resolution and a 60Hz refresh rate, which can create a noticeable “screen effect”.
The device itself is equipped with a 50 Wh battery, supports Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.2, and also has USB-C ports and a 3.5 mm audio jack.
Pre-orders for Pocket Go are now open on Kickstarter, with deliveries planned for December 2024.
