They noted that Connect will help landlords “speed up and optimize the search for tenants” and tenants will “save time when choosing an apartment.” In the future, they plan to launch the service in other cities where Yandex Rental operates: Nizhny Novgorod, Yekaterinburg, Novosibirsk, Rostov-on-Don and Krasnodar, a representative of the company said.
To use the service, the owner must register, indicate the address of the apartment, the number of rooms and the desired rent. Subsequently, a selection of online profiles of residents looking for housing based on similar parameters will appear in your personal account. To begin interacting with a potential tenant, you must fill out an advertisement and attach a photo of the property.
When registering for the service, the tenant must fill out an online form with a story about himself, a photo and wishes for the apartment (number of rooms, location, planned budget). When the owner selects a tenant, they will receive a message with a link to the ad. The tenant and landlord can then sign the agreement on the Rentals website or app. The keys to the apartment can be received by courier.
- Yandex Rental was launched in 2021. It is a long-term real estate rental service, which allows you to conclude a contract for 11 months, so as not to register it with Rosreestr.
- In early August 2024, the platform went live in four more Russian cities: Yekaterinburg, Novosibirsk, Rostov-on-Don and Krasnodar.
