Apple has released the first beta version of iOS 18.2 for developers, which integrates ChatGPT with Siri and many other interesting innovations. However, at the moment, requests in Russian via Siri do not yet work and knowledge of English is required for communication. An alternative solution has been found for users from Russia.
The Notes application has a special menu for editing text. To use it, you need to click on the Apple Intelligence icon. This menu has a Create button that redirects to ChatGPT. Users can write their requests in Russian and the chatbot will handle them. This system has the ability to create text, edit existing texts and even create images.
You don’t need to log in to your OpenAI account to use the new feature, but you do need to register all requests. You also don’t need a foreign IP address to work with ChatGPT; you will only need this for authorization if necessary. Apple is expected to add full Russian language support to Apple Intelligence in the future, but exact dates have not yet been announced.
