Only 63% of Whoosh cognitive speed test users successfully completed the tasks and began the journey at normal speed. A representative of the company told RB.RU about this, commenting on the results of a three-month experiment to identify users with low concentration of attention.

The remaining 37% made a large number of errors or completely refused to complete the tasks. For these users, the company allowed the scooters to circulate at a limited speed of 15 km/h. At the same time, Whoosh noted that upon receiving a restriction, users often refuse to travel.
According to the company, the tests identify the highest number of people with suspected impaired attention on “bar” streets from midnight to 4 or 5 a.m. on Fridays and Saturdays.
The test excluded users with suspected slow cognitive reactions due to extreme fatigue or intoxication. Whoosh noted that controlling the speed of the scooter helps prevent sudden and unexpected accelerations and maneuvers, and makes the riding style more predictable and calm.
Kicksharing used data on reaction tests in Russian cities from July to October.
The company began testing users in the summer of 2024. There is no more than a minute to complete it: users are asked to put numbers and letters in the correct order, determine the color of a word or find the name of a color. The test, as reported, is necessary to identify the speed of reaction, attention and willingness to drive the scooter carefully at the current moment.
