For just 18%, AI was the main reason for upgrading a device, led by longer battery life (61%), increased memory (46%) and improved cameras (38%).
Foldable smartphones are also not very popular; 52% of users do not plan to purchase them. Due to the high cost, many people prefer to continue using regular smartphones: 44% only upgrade when necessary, and 30% have had their phones for three years or more.
