Car manufacturers are almost equal in quarterly production (444 thousand compared to 463 thousand for the Americans), while the profit of Elon Musk’s company remains higher: 2.2 billion dollars compared to 1.6 billion of BYD dollars.
Currently, Tesla remains the most expensive car manufacturer in the world, its market capitalization is $833.1 billion. BYD is in third place with a capitalization of 119.4 billion dollars, Toyota has “silver” – 232 billion dollars.
Elon Musk’s fortune grew by $33.5 billion in one day on October 24 thanks to a record rise in shares of his car maker Tesla. They increased the price by 21.92%, up to $260.48 per piece. This is the maximum increase in contributions in the last 11 years.
