There are several types of foods that are considered unhealthy, but you can actually eat them even on a diet. Nutritionist Amy Goodson talked about them.

  1. Burgers. The most important thing is to prepare it correctly. It should contain lean ground beef (meat fat ratio 90 to 10 or 93 to 7), whole grain bun with cheese, avocado (instead of mayonnaise), lettuce, tomato, onion (regular or caramelized) or fried mushrooms. The result is a nutrient-rich meal.

  2. Pizza. Make a whole grain or cauliflower crust for fewer carbs and calories. Also use tomato sauces or add some olive oil. Then add fried chicken (or other lean protein), mozzarella, vegetables and fruits. Other food combinations nutritionists list include arugula and balsamic figs, roasted spinach, zucchini and pine nuts, or caramelized onions, walnuts, and peaches.

  1. donuts, cakes. They need to be prepared from oatmeal or oats. As a filling, you can take fruits, nuts or vegetables. To reduce the amount of sugar, you need to replace it by half with a culinary sweetener.

  2. Eggs. Thanks to the protein and fat in the egg, you will stay full for a long time. You can cook them in different ways: with vegetables, stewed, add to salads.
