According to media reports, the ergonomic and adjustable strap is designed to improve the Vision Pro usage experience and offers greater comfort and stability thanks to the locking mechanism and fixing points to hold the device.
The new strap is similar to the product introduced at WWDC23, but it is not launching alongside the Vision Pro. Instead, Apple introduced a more affordable Dual Loop band that includes a top band but without the mesh fabric of the Solo Knit band.
The $50 price seems reasonable, especially for a $3,500 device. However, many people want to see this accessory with Vision Pro for the same reason.
