“There was no massive failure in the Moscow offices. Several customers may have experienced short-term difficulties with card issuance operations at some locations. At this moment the offices are operating normally,” Sberbank said.
Previously, on November 5, TASS reported that Sberbank offices in Moscow were experiencing a massive technical failure, as a result of which customer service was suspended. “For more than an hour there was a massive technical failure in all Sberbank offices in Moscow; service to the bank’s clients was temporarily suspended,” the agency’s interlocutor noted.
At another Sberbank office in northwest Moscow, employees told a TASS correspondent that most services are currently unavailable for technical reasons.
On October 25, users from different regions of Russia complained about problems in the operation of Sberbank, VTB and the Express Payment System. Residents of Moscow and the Moscow region also reported problems.
