According to Sivtsev, the record level of the key rate of 21% set on October 25 hinders business development, raising money becomes difficult and unprofitable.
“Previously there were preferential loan programs; we used them ourselves, it was a wonderful experience and I urge the state to resort to this mechanism again,” Sivtsev said. The senior manager is quoted by the external press service of the Iva day conference.
In turn, the director of the IT company IVA Technologies, Stanislav Iodkovsky, believes that Russian software is becoming better than the American one, a unique transformation is taking place in the IT market and new leaders are emerging.
At the same time, hypercompetition reigns in the industry and many companies cannot do without government help. According to the top manager, it is necessary for the authorities to pay more attention to the regulation of the IT sector and support for domestic developers, especially in the microelectronics segment.
“Then we will have every chance to replace Nvidia boards in modern hardware systems with our own and even surpass the performance of American professional T4 and T40 video cards,” said Stanislav Iodkovsky.
Sivtsev added that the market is consolidating, the time has come for large and strong companies to establish forms of cooperation with each other.
“I call to build bridges, not walls. Customers can rely on several ecosystems from different manufacturers at once, so everything should work together quickly and efficiently,” Sivtsev said.
Starting in 2025, IT companies will start paying income tax at a preferential rate of 5% (the usual rate is 25%) instead of 0% in 2022-2024.
