The next update, update 2024.44, introduced the function of opening the doors only a second time in case of intervening in blind spots while the vehicle is stationary. The system scans the area for vehicles, pedestrians and cyclists, and if there is such a danger, it prevents the vehicle doors from opening the first time.
This warns the driver that a collision or injury may occur. A hazard signal in the blind spot is activated instantly and the driver only needs to look around and take action.
Previously, this function could only be used to monitor blind spots while the vehicle was in motion.
