In the first company, Dovbenko acquired 49%, consolidating a 100% stake, and in the second he bought 6% and increased his stake to 30%. Both companies develop software for the restaurant business. Dovbenko and Buravtsov did not respond to RB.RU’s request at the time of publication of the material.

What did Dovbenko buy?

  • Get It was founded by Leonid Dovbenko in March 2023; in August he transferred 49% to Alexander Buravtsov. For 2023, the company achieved revenue of 16.5 million rubles and a net profit of 1.2 million rubles.

Get It created the services Get Kiosk for self-service in restaurants and Get Hr to scan biometric data of catering employees. The company’s website indicates that its clients include the Papa John’s pizza chain, Burger Club establishments, the Skolkovo golf club and others. Get It has been operating in the international market for 8 years, as stated on the website.

  • “Service Inspector” is an accredited IT company; It is part of the “Open Service” group. The geography of customers includes the territory of all of Russia, as well as Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Belarus, Czech Republic, France, the United States and other countries. The company’s revenue in 2023 amounted to 29.1 million rubles, and net profit – 10.4 million rubles.

Service Inspector has created an application to pass checklists. In this company, in addition to Dovbenko, who now owns 30%, co-owner and general director Igor Lazutkin acquired a 4% stake, and now owns 20%. Alexander Buravtsov withdrew from the capital of the company, of which he owned 10%. Mikhail Nemtsan and Igor Sychev also continued to participate, with 25% each.

Both transactions took place in October.

  • Alexander Buravtsov, according to the website of the Federation of Restaurateurs and Hoteliers (FRiO), worked as commercial director of Open Service, participated in the launch of 150 catering establishments and headed the FRiO representative office in Irkutsk.
  • In April 2024, Dovbenko invested in Open Service and became one of the founders of Open Service Vologda LLC.
  • In October, the DocsInBox service, with funds raised from the IIDF, bought the geopromotion platform Pointer, the IT company engaged in local marketing. The asset was valued between 150 and 200 million rubles. Commenting on the deal with Forbes, the businessman said the acquisition should provide “a synergistic effect, given the active growth of both companies over the past year.”

Experts on Dovbenko’s plans

Dovbenko commented on the transactions. one of the founders of the Dsight analytics platform, Arseniy Dabbakh.

“Leonid Dovbenko is a famous person and founder of the Yalla market, which has gone through ups and downs. After the failure of many startups in last-mile delivery, he was able to “restructure” the company and raise capital. It seems to me that you want to build an IT company around the hotel market (HoReCa) and all these projects complement each other well. This segment is quite large and not digitized enough,” Dabbah said.

According to the expert, Leonid Dovbenko may want to build a large international company in this area and is now trying to combine the components of an IT solution by taking advantage of agreements with companies in which he is an investor or majority shareholder. .

“Consequently, these companies are interesting for investments, but for Leonid they are of particular interest and I think that companies are also interested in participating in the great story that Leonid Dovbenko is building,” Dabbakh said.

IT services, similar to those developed by Dovbenko companies, can take the industry to a new level, according to RB.RU consultant and owner of the company Megaset74 Evgeniy Kondakov. While new technologies are not familiar to all restaurateurs, automation is especially underrepresented in these regions.

“Those who are now investing in the future in this area are great colleagues. This is the future. The use of these technologies will considerably increase the level of institutions; there will be no need to hire additional employees and control everything manually,” said Kondakov.
