But in 2021, director Peter Jackson and his team used machine learning to separate Lennon’s vocals and piano from the original recording, allowing Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr to complete the song.
Although the song was completed using artificial intelligence, it complies with Grammy rules because it contains human-made elements.
