The company’s specialists reflected on the software implementation process in a report at the Rostim forum in Moscow. Renga was used to design an apartment building in the residential complex “City of Stars” in the village of Novosaratovka, Leningrad Region. The software helped prepare design and work documentation, as well as create BIM catalogs (visualized databases).
In particular, with the help of the Russian system, Setl Group specialists developed the main libraries of elements, sets and sheet templates, determined the project structure and stored the models. Renga also made it possible to automatically upload plans using the Rosreestr form.
“Taking into account the positive experience of using the software,” the Setl Group signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Askon, the largest developer of software for industry and construction (including Renga) and IT integrator, the holding company summarized.
Renga’s website states that it is a Russian BIM system for integrated design “with the necessary functionality, an intuitive interface and an affordable cost.” Architects, designers and engineers can use the software.
