Apple has updated the firmware for AirPods 4 and AirPods Pro 2 with Lightning and USB-C connectors.
The build number for AirPods 4 is 7B20, for AirPods Pro 2 – 7B21. All headphone models previously ran on firmware 7B19.
Apple says these updates contain bug fixes and changes. The company did not disclose further details.

1. Connect headphones to iPhone
2. Put them in the case and connect them to the charger.
3. Wait 5 minutes
You can view the firmware version via Settings → General → About this device → AirPods.
